Aurora Ignited

Aurora Ignited is an original 8"x8" acrylic painting on plywood, part of a trio created for the 2025 Astoria Visual Arts annual fundraiser. Beginning with a white base, layers of color were applied diagonally and then blown out — allowing the pigments to move freely and ignite into their own radiant patterns. Each piece in this trio carries its own quiet energy while sharing a cohesive spirit.

Each original is initialed and dated on the front lower right, and numbered in Roman numerals on the back upper left for authenticity.
